Bringing Healthcare to Communities in Need
Relief International operates over 40 health facilities across Sudan, and more in neighboring South Sudan for refugees and returnees.
In some of these locations, we are the only NGO working there.
The priority for our teams at these facilities is simply to keep people alive.
We do this by providing trauma care, routine medical care, medicine, vaccines and mental health support, as well as treatment for malnutrition for as many people as we can.
Learn more about the Sudanese refugees arriving in South Sudan, and the incredible local health care heroes who treat them now by reading a dynamic article produced for Relief International by BBC Storyworks in association with the WHO Foundation as part of the Healthier Together series.
