The Philippines is struggling to contain major outbreaks of polio and COVID-19, which hit the island nation’s shores within a six-month period. Relief International partnered with UNICEF to respond to both outbreaks in communities on the island of Mindanao.

Providing Safe Spaces for the Youngest Syrian Refugees

U.N. Children's Fund U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation

Since the war in Syria broke out in 2011, more than one million Syrian children have been born in exile as refugees. Through strategic partnerships, Relief International established an Early Childhood Education Center in each refugee camp to support the needs of the youngest Syrian refugees.

South Sudan

Restoring Access to Safe Drinking Water in South Sudan

U.N. Children's Fund Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance

In South Sudan, at least fifty percent of the country lacks access to safe, drinking water. Through a strategic partnership with OFDA and UNICEF, Relief International teams built new water supply systems in five locations across South Sudan.
