Economic crisis, political unrest, and the ongoing impact of COVID-19 have combined to create extreme hardship for families throughout Lebanon. Relief International is providing life-saving support to those that need it most.

Seven-month-old Saqr was diagnosed with acute malnutrition with complications when he was referred to Ma’abar hospital in North Yemen by one of Relief International’s (RI) Nutrition Assistants.

The damage to mental health for many Syrian children and adults is both chronic and severe. Relief International works across Turkey to improve the mental health of traumatized Syrian refugees.

Today Iran hosts one of the world’s largest populations of refugees. Most are from neighboring Afghanistan where conflict and economic desperation has forced millions of people to migrate in search of a better life.

Relief International began providing medical care at Gentil Hospital in 2016. Since then, no mothers’ lives have been lost during childbirth.

Relief International’s Village Savings and Loan program comprises sixty groups of approximately 20 members. Members of the group have been able to purchase items such as a cow and a sewing machine, leading to income generating activities.
