Craig Redmond's Challenge

Join us and be a catalyst for change

Relief International’s work has never been more crucial. With people in need of aid at a record high, an unprecedented 100 million people forced from their homes, and global funding for many communities facing crisis decreasing, your support has never mattered more.

My challenge is to raise US$1 million to advance our work across the globe. I invite you to become a Council Member, joining a distinguished group at the heart of our life-saving work, and unite with us in taking forward our ambitious mission – serving communities at risk as they face the triple threats of conflict, climate change and displacement.

Craig Redmond – CEO, Relief International

Over ten million essential services each year

Craig Redmond, Relief International’s CEO, leads over 5,000 dedicated and skilled staff and volunteers, 98% of whom are local nationals. As an independent non-profit organization, we serve families suffering acute crises in the face of conflict, climate change and chronic poverty.

With over 60 years’ experience, Relief International has been there for people during many of the largest humanitarian crises of our time across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Our impact is immediate and long-lasting – providing critical healthcare and nutrition as well as other essential services to support communities to withstand future shocks. At times, Relief International is the only organization providing this essential support.

Our vital programs provide:

Healthcare and Nutrition

Water, Hygiene and Sanitation

Food Security and Livelihoods

Education

Our Impact

Responding to crisis and building resilience

Communities, governments and donors all tell us that Relief international’s work
is vital. Upon her appointment as USAID Administrator, Samantha Power prioritised visiting our programs in Darfur, Sudan (right).
Our emergency aid programs, led by Global Humanitarian Director, Azadeh Hassani (below left), are there for communities at their most desperate moments while our development work provides real and sustainable hope for the future.

I’m supporting this campaign because I know Relief International will reach communities that others won’t. I know my long-term support will impact the lives and livelihoods of families facing crisis today, and in future generations.
