It has been one month since two devastating earthquakes struck Southern Türkiye and Northwest Syria on February 6, 2023. Since this time, the region has experienced thousands of aftershocks and the death toll has risen to more than 50,000 individuals. We share in this loss.
We are profoundly saddened by the passing of four colleagues during the earthquake in Northwest Syria. Each was a cherished member of the Relief International family; irreplaceable and sorely missed.

Abdulmonem and his family members passed away under the rubble as a result of the earthquakes that hit Syria and Türkiye in February 2023.
