Responding to the Forgotten Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon

Latter-day Saint Charities

The crisis in English-speaking parts of Cameroon, which began with peaceful protests in late 2016, has escalated into a full-blown conflict with an estimated 1.3 million people in need of humanitarian aid. With a lack of funding and media attention, Cameroon tops the list of the world’s most neglected crises.

Providing Primary Healthcare in Uganda’s Palorinya Settlement

Latter-day Saint Charities

With support from Latter-day Saint Charities, Relief International took over three primary healthcare clinics in Uganda’s Palorinya settlement from another organization in late 2017.  These clinics were located in some of the most densely packed areas of the settlement, and served as the primary source of healthcare for a catchment area of 100,000 people.
