Today, international non-profit Relief International announces its partnership with the WHO Foundation on the ‘Healthier Together’ campaign. Produced for them by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions, the series of films, animations and articles showcases the organizations and people across the world taking responsibility for global health.
Speaking about the partnership Craig Redmond, Chief Executive at Relief International says, “Addressing health inequity and closing gaps in healthcare provision is no mean feat – it is only made possible by the people who are on the ground, working day in and day out in very challenging environments. We are very proud to be part of the Healthier Together series which is showcasing the organisations and people across the world who are making this happen and improving global health.
He continues, “In particular we are thrilled to shine a spotlight on the local communities Relief International partners with in 15 countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East to save lives, build greater resilience and promote long-term health and wellbeing.”
Relief International is part of the campaign’s focus on how determinants such as access to resources, income, built environments and climate change shape our health and how enhancing resilience is key to making communities healthier.
