Relief International worked with vulnerable communities in Ghana to develop, produce and market a fuel-efficient charcoal cookstove, called the Gyapa™.
Since 2007, Relief International has worked alongside Ghanaian communities and the CO2 emissions experts at ClimateCare to design, produce and sell a safer cooking solution: the Gyapa™ cookstove.
Bangladeshi communities have long relied on the Sundarbans Mangrove Forest for their lives and livelihoods, exposing these critical resources to overexploitation. In recent years, Relief International has partnered with local communities to launch eco-friendly businesses that provide jobs while protecting this natural site.
Relief International’s programs continue to support the diverse needs of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees living in vulnerable situations in Bangladesh.
Relief International is helping rebuild Afghanistan’s crippled healthcare system by rehabilitating and equipping medical facilities. We’re also training doctors, midwives, female medical staff, and surgeons to work in remote areas that are cut off from other sources of healthcare.
Inside Relief International’s Women & Girl Friendly Spaces in Kutupalong refugee camp, roughly 100 women gather each day to escape the realities of life inside the camp.
Relief International began providing medical care at Gentil Hospital in 2016. Since then, no mothers’ lives have been lost during childbirth.
