Conflict Threatens Delivery of Food, Aid in Yemen

Yemen, June 13, 2018

Nearly 70 percent of all food entering Yemen comes through the port of Hodeida. The military escalation there further threatens the 10 million Yemenis already at risk of famine. Relief International is in position to deliver emergency stocks of food, medicine and other necessities to nearby areas. We also have plans in place to support fleeing families with food, water, medicine, hygiene items and other necessities.

Roughly 20 million people in Yemen — more than two-thirds of the population — already are in need of humanitarian assistance. Relief International stands with the international aid community in calling on all parties to reach a peaceful solution.
