Supporting the RI Global Security Risk Management function, the Global Security Information & Conflict Analyst (SICA) is primarily focused on the Middle Eastern region, focussing on development, production and capacity building of analysis designed to inform operational planning related to humanitarian access and security.
Acting as a core support to the RI Global Security team, the SICA requires a strong analytical capacity; analysing and presenting global political and security developments in order to produce a high-quality, actionable product that is relevant for RI’s operational and strategic decision-making.
The SICA will use a number of methodologies and manage specialist resources to identify and assess key threat trends that may impact RI staff, beneficiaries, or programs, and communicate this analysis in an effective and functional manner to all stakeholders.
As Learning Coordinator you will support RI’s Organizational Development and Training (OD&T) goals to develop and retain high quality staff through a comprehensive Learning and Development offering, which reflects RI’s global aims, and best practice, supported by a Learning Management System that is user-friendly, flexible and meets all reporting requirements.
You will form strong working relationships across all RI teams to support the delivery of a culture of continuous performance improvement, ethics and compliance and professional development
As part of the Regional Programs Team within the Regional Support Office (RSO) for RI’s Middle East Region, the Regional Program Manager (RPM) will support Program and Portfolio Management across the Middle East region and be responsible for program and grants management backstopping for the Middle East portfolio. The RPM works with the Regional Program Director to provide ongoing support to country program teams and ensures close coordination with the Global Award Management Unit (AMU), the Global Program Development (PD) Team, the global Technical Assistance Department (TAD), and other departments at the Global Support Office (GSO). The RPM will also liaise with donors, working with country, regional and global team members to ensure that RI is accurately and promptly complying with donor requests related to program and grants management.
This position will undertake key tasks and deliverables for the Middle East program portfolio, currently consisting of humanitarian and development programs across the five countries as assigned to by the Regional Program Director. Periodic field travel will be expected, to provide direct support, gap filling, monitoring and serve as surge support in response to humanitarian crises.
The Country Director will ensure strong leadership of all members of the RI Country Team that builds team spirit, cohesion, motivation, commitment, quality performance and fulfillment of all agency functions. He/she is directly responsible for the overall strategic planning, program design and implementation, program support operations (security, HR, procurement, logistics), country-level external relations and coordination, finance and budget compliance, administration, monitoring and evaluation, staff supervision, and required reporting on grants. He/she will ensure that programs meet stated objectives, are in line with RI’s philosophy and strategy, meet the needs of beneficiaries, and are implemented to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. The CD is will lead in obtaining funding, and identifying and pursuing new program opportunities. The CD will continually assess, identify and address gaps and weaknesses so as to improve overall country program performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
The CD is the primary link between the country team and Regional Support Office or team (RSO) and Global Support Office (GSO). He/she will build and maintain a close, collaborative and responsive relationship and frequent communications with the Regional Director as his/her direct supervisor and key link to global support services.
RI is seeking a motivated person to support across the RI program portfolio in the Middle East, with specific support provided to the Middle East regional programs team based in Amman, Jordan. The Communication Intern will be responsible to ensure that information and data from the RI country offices within the region is captured, documented, analyzed, and reported in a results-based and timely manner for donors and internal purposes for RI. This includes, but is not limited to, support in the review and finalization of donor reports, management of internal communications initiatives and information management platforms, as well as ad-hoc assistance to the programs team in other tasks as needed.
Relief International (RI) currently seeks a dynamic Program Manager for a new RI program funded by BHA which includes FSL, Health and Nutrition( including a cash component) activities in both North and South of Yemen. Program Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the project., she/he will supervise project implementation and ensure the project meets stated goals and reporting requirements, as well as will take a leading role in coordination among key stakeholders.
The Supply Chain and Operation Manager (SCO) is responsible for RI’s supply chain management, including procurement, warehousing, distribution support as well as fleet management, asset management and IT. As a member of the country senior management team, the SCO Manager ensures compliance with RIs policies and procedures as well as national law and donor regulations.. The scope of the position includes strategic planning for supply chain & operations, training and capacity building incoming and existing staff and supporting program teams on aspects of program implementation in refugee camps.
The Regional Program Director will work closely with the Regional Director to contribute to and implement RI’s Global strategy, by providing vision and strategic direction to all of RI’s work in the region. This includes RI’s humanitarian responses in addition to looking at future long-term development, program design and implementation that will ensure RI’s longer-term presence in the region and working with both host communities and governments.
The Regional Program Director role will focus on increased facilitation and coordination between Global and RI country programs to create a stronger regional portfolio that is globally coordinated and is able to evolve from day-to-day management to growth and improvement in quality.
The Regional Program Director is expected to take a leadership role in supporting a multi-departmental approach to strategy design, program management, program development, and risk management in close coordination with Finance, Awards Management, Security, Supply Chain and Operations, and HR departments.
