The Finance Director (FD) will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of all Finance functions of the Country Program. The Finance Director will also have responsibility for ensuring that all financial transactions for the Country Program are accounted for and documented accurately. He/she will be responsible for ensuring that all RI accounting procedures are followed and budgets are adhered to; all donor and HQ reporting requirements and deadlines are met; cash is controlled and accounted for in a timely manner in accordance with RI, donor and audit requirements; costs are correctly allocated to multiple projects.
As part of the Regional Programs Team within the Regional Support Office (RSO) for RI’s Africa & Asia Region, the Communications Intern will serve as a critical support function for the Africa/Asia Regional Program Team. Under the supervision of the Regional Program Assistant (RPA), the Communications’ Intern will ensure quality and adequate information management within Africa/Asia region. She/he will ensure that information and data from the RI country offices within the region is captured, documented, analyzed and reported in a results-based and timely manner for donors and internal purposes, as well as ad-hoc assistance to the programs team in other tasks as needed.

The Project Manager will support the development, planning and implementation of RI’s program to respond to the needs of vulnerable Communities.
RI seeks a Program Development Consultant to join its roster of qualified candidates to serve as needed to fulfill surge support anticipated throughout the year. Ideal candidates will be available for a period of 3 Months and will work corroboratively with the Program Development Team, Regional Directors, country teams and with a direct senior-level reporting line to the Director of Program Development. The PD Consultant will be responsible for developing a set number of concept notes and Full Proposals as well as refining Proposal Development trainings and materials. Full and part time availability will be considered.
Relief International, as the newly selected hosting Agency of the North East Syria Gender Based Violence Sub Working Group (NES GBV SWG), is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of NES GBV SWG coordinator. Under the direct supervision of RI’s hub team leader in NES and the technical supervision of RI’s Whole Of Syria (WoS) Protection Advisor in Amman and regular communication and coordination with UNFPA WoS GBV Coordinator, the NES Protection Working Group Coordinator and the NES Forum Inter Sector Working Group (ISWG) Coordinator, the incumbent will coordinate the GBV Prevention, Response and Risk Mitigation in NES.
In accordance with the humanitarian cluster approach, RI will be leading the NES GBV SWG, and this inter-agency coordination position will ensure GBV integration across the humanitarian response implemented by NGOs in NES, including liaison and coordination with other GBV organizations, ensure compliance of the GBV response with international minimum standards, training and sensitization, strategic planning, advocacy and monitoring and evaluation. The GBV SWG Coordinator will use the IASC Guidelines for GBV Interventions in Humanitarian Settings, the GBV Area of Responsibility’s Handbook for Coordination of GBV Interventions in Emergencies (2019), UNFPA’s guide for Managing GBV Programmes in Emergencies and Inter-agency Minimum Standards for Prevention and Response to GBV in Emergencies (GBV AoR) and companion materials (orientation and training guides, planning worksheets, etc.) to facilitate planning, coordination, monitoring and evaluation of GBV initiatives
The GBV SWG Coordinator’s role will be pivotal in strengthening interagency GBV coordination mechanisms in NES for a more effective and coordinated GBV response. The GBV SWG Coordinator will facilitate the implementation of inter-sector and agency GBV programming in a humanitarian emergency. GBV programming in humanitarian emergencies is multi-sectoral, which involves several organizations and actors, NGO, and government implementing partners, UN agencies, and other national and international organizations that engage in comprehensive prevention and response initiatives.
The Human Resources Advisor will ensure human resources and support systems are well established for the rapid and effective mobilization and management of the RI team on the ground responding to the emergency, working closely and respectfully with existing HR teams on the ground.
Your role will effectively partner with SMT to ensure existing RI staff affected by the earthquake are provided with support, new staffing needs are identified, and to ensure key positions are filled in a timely manner.
RI is thrilled to announce, we are searching for a Philanthropy Director, to lead on income generation, from a diverse portfolio of donors. These are major donors (High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI), family foundations, corporations and mid-level donors.
Working closely with the CEO, Senior Management Team and the Board of Trustees, you will identify new prospective donors and lead on the development of a long-term strategy for income growth.
The Regional Security and Access Manager (RSAM) reports to the Regional Director (RD), with technical supervision from the Vice President Safety and Security (VPSS) based in Washington DC. The RSAM will take on a rigorous leadership role to support and guide the country offices to strengthen, fine-tune and/or build security resources and systems in each country office within Africa/Asia region, in addition to focusing on improving the overall culture of security management in Africa/Asia region. The RSAM will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing and advising on safety and security management, and access strategy of all activities and operational functions in the countries that comprise the Africa/Asia region at RI. In addition, the RSAM will be responsible for ensuring up to date and adequate risk assessments and SOPs, submitting timely and accurate reports and assessments to the RD and GSO, ensuring capacity building and training on security for staff in the region, and representing the organization in security coordination fora.
