In an ever-changing world, Relief International’s work as a humanitarian and development organization is more important than ever. The fragile settings where we operate are marked by recurrent man-made or natural crises that impede human development. It’s not our style to parachute in, distribute supplies, and depart for the next crisis. The fragile communities where we work require our long-term commitment.

Relief International has worked continuously for a decade or more in 11 of the 16 fragile settings where we operate. Our long-standing history in these countries is part of why we are well-respected and trusted by members of the local population, peer organizations, and governments. Regional Finance Manager

JORDAN

You will be the senior finance expert within the regional office, under the supervision of the Regional Director, with technical supervision from the Finance Field Director. You will provide leadership and coordination on the administrative, accounting, financial reporting and budgeting processes of RI’s Regional program offices to implement, maintain and improve financial management systems, policies and procedures.

The Regional Finance Manager will support the Field Finance Director to streamline all financial and accounting issues in the region, by guiding and coaching the Country Finance Managers, ensuring they have proper internal controls and that they follow Relief International’s financial policies and other standards, including regulatory and donor requirements recognized by the external auditors.

Chief of Party – Food for Peace (FFP)

SOUTH SUDAN

RI South Sudan is recruiting a Chief of Party (CoP) for the USAID FFP-funded Emergency Food Security activity in South Sudan. If awarded this will be a three-year, multi-million dollar project implemented in consortium with two partner organizations. The CoP will be responsible for the overall management of the project, leadership of the project team and larger consortium, representation to USAID/FFP, government and other stakeholders. The CoP should have extensive experience and skills in team leadership and management of complex activities in food security and livelihood programming, preferably with USAID CoP experience.

RI South Sudan is recruiting a M&E Specialist for the USAID FFP-funded Emergency Food Security activity in South Sudan. The M&E Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing an M&E system and plan, including a database to store and aggregate collected data. This role offers an opportunity to work within a leading global humanitarian organization that transforms adversity into renewal for the world’s most vulnerable populations. In East Africa, RI is working to improve health, nutrition, food security, WASH, education, and general economic conditions through relief and development programming.

Protection Program Manager

The Protection Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all of RI’s protection programming in Afghanistan, including gender based violence (GBV) and MPHSS projects. He/she will lead the design of all new protection programs, lead the expansion of RI’s protection portfolio in Afghanistan, oversee implementation, and ensure timely reporting. He/she will be key in driving the growth and expansion of RI’s humanitarian portfolio (including GBV, MPHSS, and child protection) and support protection mainstreaming in all of RI’s projects. This position requires an individual who is accustomed to the pace of emergency response programming, has experience in successfully leading a diverse team, does not require close supervision or direction, is flexible and highly responsive, and excels at building and strengthening relations with donors.
