The Country Finance Manager for RI-Jordan will be responsible for leading and implementing all duties related to financial management of RI’s program in Jordan, taking into account specific project needs, donor compliance, sound financial management practices, and the legal framework of the Government of Jordan (GOJ). In addition to build, structure and strengthen the finance department team. Ensure that structures are in place to facilitate engaging local leadership for the department in the coming years. The position reports directly to the Country Director with a technical reporting line to the Regional Finance Manager. MEAL Officer

The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer will be supervised by the Mashhad Head of Office, with technical reporting to the MEAL Coordinator. She/he is responsible for implementing all monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning tasks for the Mashhad field office (and other supported provinces) with operational support from Mashhad Head of Office and technical supervision from the MEAL Coordinator. Jobs and Labour Market Assessment

SOUTH SUDAN

Relief International supported by UNHCR is implementing a Livelihoods program to create jobs and skill development for Refugee Youth and Women in Maban County.  The project aims to Increase the number of Refugee youth who are gainfully employed or self-employed through a replicable, self-sustainable job and skills development model. The outcomes include; Skills development through improved outlook and motivation of youth participants on prospects for the future and becoming self-sufficient, responsible members of society, Job creation through improved incomes and employment opportunities and Successful youth-led businesses, creating employment.

As part of the project improvement strategy, RI, with support from UNHCR wish to conduct a labour market assessment in each of the four Refugee camps and the surrounding host Community especially Bunj to identify the types of jobs currently or projected to be available in the near future. The assessment should pay special attention on identifying green growth jobs, including waste management, fuel-efficient cookstoves, solar lighting, biogas, renewable energy, Vocational skills and sustainable agriculture such as the fresh vegetable/fruits value chains. The results from this assessment will support RI and UNHCR’s to better align training programs to the types of jobs that are emerging in their locales.

HR Intern: Support Refugee Application Process – Afghanistan

USA - WASHINGTON, DC

Position Summary.
To support RI with applications for the P2 program, ensuring the applications are correctly completed and logged via the US government portal

Background: 
The US government has set up a special immigration program called “US Refugee Admissions Program Priority2” which enables Afghan nationals to apply for a US visa if they have worked for an International NGO that is or was in receipt of USAID funding for their programs in Afghanistan.  Relief International is supporting current and former staff in Afghanistan to submit an application through the P2 program.  Requests for support are being directed to the RI office in Afghanistan, where the Human Resources team will receive completed referral packages.  Once checked, these applications will be forwarded to the HR team at RI’s head office in the US, where they will be checked and verified, before they are submitted to the US government for consideration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with the RI HR team in Afghanistan re applications to be referred to RI head office.
  • Check the applications that are received from the Afghan office and verify them against identity documents etc; and ensure none of the required elements are missing.
  • Once checked and verified, forward the applications to the RI CEO for signature.
  • Once signed, upload the application/referral documents into the US P2 program portal.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet of all applications uploaded.
  • Deal with any follow up queries, liaising with the RI HR team in Afghanistan.
